GA Bunko Festival 2021 - All Anime Announcements

5 All new anime adaptations were announced alongside 2 long awaited sequels.

Goblin Slayer, the hit series written by Kumo Kagyu that has over 7 million copies in print, finally has a second season confirmed with a new visual reveal pictured above. The first season aired back in October 2018.

Synopsis - A young priestess has formed her first adventuring party, but almost immediately they find themselves in distress. It's the Goblin Slayer who comes to their rescue--a man who's dedicated his life to the extermination of all goblins, by any means necessary. And when rumors of his feats begin to circulate, there's no telling who might come calling next...

GA Bunko other mega hit series written by Fujino Omori and Illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda that has over 12 million copies print "Is It Wrong To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon?" had a 4th season announced but with only logo tease alongside it, picture above.

Synopsis -  In Orario, fearless adventurers band together in search of fame and fortune within the monstrous underground labyrinth known as Dungeon.

But while riches and renown are incentive enough for most, Bell Cranel, would-be hero extraordinaire, has bigger plans.

He wants to pick up girls.

Is it wrong to face the perils of Dungeon alone, in a single-member guild blessed by a failed goddess? Maybe. Is it wrong to dream of playing hero to hapless maidens in Dungeon? Maybe not. After one misguided adventure, Bell quickly discovers that anything can happen in the labyrinth--even chance encounters with beautiful women. The only problem? He's the one who winds up the damsel in distress!

Alongside the two sequels anime announcements, two all new anime adaptations were announced for Tensei Kenjya no Isekai Life and Shikkakumon no SaikyouKenja, both written by Shinkou Shouto and illustrated by Kazabana Fuka. The two are promising isekai series for the GA bunko label with the latter having over 4 million copies in print and the latter over 3.7 million. Alongside, the short PV above, the studio for each series was announced. Tensei Kenjya no Isekai life will be animated by Revoroot whilst Shikkakumon no Saikyou Kenja will be done by J.C Staff.  The latter also had a design PV released that is picture above.

Tensei Kenjya no Isekai Life

Synopsis - Sano Yuji, a black company employee, is summoned to another world while finishing his work at home. His profession in the other world, a Monster Tamer, is considered a job that makes it difficult to become an adventurer. However, thanks to some slimes he met, which read several magical books, he gained magical powers and the second profession, Sage.
Yuji acquired overwhelming power, but is he conscious of his strength? Blindly becoming unparalleled and strongest in the world!

Shikkakumon no Saikyou Kenja

Synopsis - In a certain world, there was someone who excelled in magic combat, and people called him "Sage." Seeking the strongest combat art, he devoted himself to research every magic and combat art in existence, and the conclusion he arrived at was very cruel: "My body is not fit for magic combat." Yet he didn’t give up. He sealed his own soul with a magic art and was reborn in a far-off future, and the magic theory in the completely changed world he saw there was of unbelievably low level.

The Genius Prince's Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Poverty written by Toru Toba and illustrated by Falmaro is another series that is receiving an anime. It likewise also one of the latest promising titles from GA Bunko, not an isekai this time but a fantasy series involving a genius prince's unreluctant attempts to save his country. With the announcement there was a visual for the series released but there were no other news.

Synopsis - It ain't easy being a genius...

Prince Wein is ready to commit treason. And who can blame him? Faced with the impossible task of ruling his pathetic little kingdom, this poor guy just can't catch a break! But with his brilliant idea of auctioning off his country, this lazy prince should be able to retire once and for all. Or that was the plan...until his treasonous schemes lead to disastrous consequences-namely, accidental victories and the favor of his people!

The winner of the 2019th GA Bunko Grand Prize Award, 'The Executioner and Her Way of Life,' written by Sato and illustrated by Nilitsu is another title with a lot of promise for GA Bunko. They are heavily promoting the fact that the last series to receive the most prestigious award the GA Bunko Grand Prize was 'Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls in A Dungeon' in 2011, hence it is putting this series in the same pedestal as GA Bunko's mega hit. With the announcement came a short PV linked above, but it does not feature any animation or include any information of the studio or staff working in the anime. So for that we will have to wait but this is the case for most of the series.

Synopsis - The Lost Ones are wanderers who come here from a distant world known as "Japan." No one knows how or why they leave their homes. The only thing that is certain is that they bring disaster and calamity. The duty of exterminating them without remorse falls to Menou, a young Executioner. When she meets Akari, it seems like just another job...until she discovers it's impossible to kill this girl! And when Menou begins to search for a way to defeat this immortality, Akari is more than happy to tag along! So begins a journey that will change Menou forever...

My Friend's Little Sister is Only Annoying To Me written by Mikawa Ghost and illustrated by Tomari was the last anime announcement and it rounds out the lineup quite well. The other series varies are mostly all fantasy but they vary on theme and genre but My Friend's Little Sister is Only Annoying to Me is a romance comedy series and one of the popular under the GA Bunko label. Alongside the announcement there was no other information. It also unlike all others does not have a home page to call its own yet which tells me this is not coming this year.

Synopsis - If a girl teases you, that means she likes you! Unfortunately, Akiteru knows from experience that isn’t the case. Because every girl he interacts with shows him nothing but scorn, and he’s not scored a single date from it! Luckily, he’s more concerned with securing a spot for him and his game-development buddies at his uncle’s business. But when his uncle throws him a condition that involves playing the part of his daughter’s boyfriend, Akiteru has no choice but to take it. What will his best friend’s sister Iroha, who bullies him relentlessly, think of the news?
